IBBIS Executive Director Dr. Piers Millett attended the 7th annual Global Technology Summit in New Delhi. The summit, hosted by Carnegie India and India’s Ministry of External Affairs, ran from November 29 to December 1, 2022, as India assumed the G20 Presidency. The meeting brought together representatives from government, industry, academia, and civil society to discuss biosafety and biosecurity challenges and how to address them safely and effectively. During a public plenary session, Millett and NTI | bio Vice President Dr. Jaime Yassif reaffirmed IBBIS’ mission to reduce emerging biological risks elicited by technological advancements.
