Dr. Piers Millett attended the G7 Global Partnership Against the Spread of Weapons and Materials of Mass Destruction Working Group and Conference on Biosecurity Challenges in Berlin, Germany on October 5, 2022 to introduce IBBIS alongside NTI | bio experts Dr. Jaime Yassif and Hayley Severance. Speaking to a group of representatives from the G7 Global Partnership, Millett described IBBIS’ work strengthen bioscience governance and reduce emerging biological risks associated with technological advances. He also described IBBIS’ anticipated projects to safeguard DNA synthesis technology and reduce other risks throughout the bioscience and biotechnology research and development lifecycle.
