Lucas Boldrini is a Technical Consultant at IBBIS and former Team Experience Manager at the iGEM Foundation, where he managed the world’s largest synthetic biology competition, supporting 400 teams worldwide. He is the founder of the iGEM Space Initiative, a platform advancing the intersection of synthetic biology and space exploration, establishing collaborations with leading space agencies and representing iGEM at the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS).

Lucas holds a Master’s in Biophysics from the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology. His research experience spans neurobiology, stratospheric experimentation, and biotechnology, with work at EMBL Rome, IBEC Barcelona, and the São Carlos Institute of Physics.
